i received about 10 days ago his SS, approximatly when (i guess it was before that) in time was that supposed to be received?

You may not have an online access code, not everybody does. It will depend on how you applied.

But when did he enter the US on his immigrant visa, and when did you pay the green card fee?

Edit: looks like he's only just entered? Have another read of your previous thread, he isn't due to get his green card until up to 90 AFTER he's entered the US on his visa, so still another couple of months for it to potentially be received.

You can check the status online (your online account won't help with that anyway). You need to do the case status checker and that will tell you when the card is in production, when it's been produced, when it's been shipped etc - https://egov.uscis.gov

He entered Aug 18, but he paid everything  some months earlier, about mid April.

Right, and as explained to you in the thread linked to above, it's 90 days from whichever is later. So it should be received at some point before mid November. And just track it online, forget your online account as that isn't relevant.

Immigrant Visa Fee Payment Received

On April 18, 2025, we received your USCIS Immigrant fee payment for your Permanent Resident Card related to your immigrant visa. We will be processing the request for production of your Permanent Resident Card. You should receive your Permanent Resident Card within 90 days of your entry into the United States or within 90 days after your USCIS Immigrant Fee payment is received. If you do not receive your Permanent Resident Card, visit the USCIS Contact Center webpage at www.uscis.gov/contactcenter. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

Yes, that's exactly what the tracking will show. It says payment received at the moment as it's just too soon for anything else if he only entered 3 weeks ago. Keep an eye on it and it will change to 'card in production' when they start that.

No, he doesn't. His visa acts as a temporary green card for a year once it's stamped, until the plastic one turns up. As it says on it "UPON ENDORSEMENT SERVES AS TEMPORARY I-551 EVIDENCING PERMANENT RESIDENCE FOR 1 YEAR"

The visa expires today, which just means he had to enter the US by that date. That has no relevance to the endorsement of the visa and it acting as a temporary green card for a year.
