Dear all,

I am in the US on a F1 visa. My husband submited the I-130 selecting the consular process as that was the intention when we started the process and now we are doing adjustment of status as my priority date became current. Is there something specific i should do or should i just submit all the documents + forms while submitting I-485?

thanks for your help :)

Hello, i am on a F1 visa and i am actually in the US.

OK, and your husband is a green card holder, that's how you're adjusting status? When was your I-130 approved?

Correct, he is a green card holder.

Fab. It would be super helpful if you could fill your timeline in (on your profile).

So if your PD is now current then you can go ahead and submit your I-485, there's a guide at the top of the page which may be useful -

Best of luck.

My I-130 is still pending. As my priority date is now current, my question was do i need to notify USCIS or the consular or just submitting the form I-485?

Thank you for your help :)

What date did you submit it? If you're eligible to adjust status then you can file the I-485 whilst the I-130 is pending, no need to notify anybody.

Perfect, thank you, we plan to submit tomorrow, that's why i wanted to make sure that i didn't need to do anything else before submitting.

Include a copy of the I-130 receipt with the I-485 package.
