I have abondoned my gc way back 1998.  Parents decided to apply for 1130 again. Approved F1 after 10 years, problem is that I got married, f3 petition filed but parents later decided to abandoned it. Will I have any problem if I decided to apply for an b1/b2 visa instead?

  • Ban Hammer changed the title to abandoned gc in 1998, apply for an b1/b2 visa? (split topic)

There's no such form "1130". Did you mean I-130?

You can always try. Nobody can predict outcome for sure. A lot depends on your ties to home country.

When you say they abandoned it, do you mean they've actually withdrawn the petition? Or just left it?

No problem applying for a B visa either way, your chances are slim of it being granted but you can always apply.
