Identifying where my case is?

Hi All,

 

We submitted I-130 (US citizen applying for spouse) in April 2024. So far we have 2 letters back from USCIS but cant be sure we are identifying where the case is with confidence. 

 

Letter 1

 

From I-767C

notice type: Receipt

received date: April 01, 2024

notice date: April 11, 2024

Receipt number: IOE************

 

In the bottom left corner of this letter there is an address for the Nebraska service center.

 

Letter 2 and the only document posted on our USCIS portal

 

From I-767C

notice type: USCIS account access notice

received date: April 01, 2024

notice date: April 19, 2024

Receipt number: IOE************

 

In the bottom left corner of this letter there is an address for the Vermont service center.

 

So is our case with Nebraska or Vermont? asking so we can see trends with processing times in the center with our case. Appreciate any help.

Case is at Nebraska.  Letter 1 is the actual I-130 receipt.

I believe it's Nebraska, since it really matters who received your case, not who sent you online access code.

 

I-130 for spouses take 13-17 months. You may see some movement in the next few months.
