NVC & Taxes

Hello everyone,

 

I’ve lived overseas almost my whole life and I gave birth last year. CRBA did not work out so I had to file an I-130 for my son. I’m not married and I only petitioned for him. I have been unemployed the last 3 years and I haven’t filed taxes but I do have assets (not investments only cash). Will this be a problem during the NVC stage? Do I have to have money or investments in the US or will cash be sufficient? I also don’t have US domicile but I think a solid plan to immigrate also works.

(I already got 2 joint sponsors but I still wanted to ask just in case they had a change of heart.)
