Hello!

This is a question for those who decided to get married without any proposal/engagement ring and went to the K1 visa interview.

I was wondering what did you say when they asked you ‘How did he propose’? I read on the internet that it’s one of the most popular questions that are asked at the embassy.

Can I say that he didn’t propose to me, but since we love each other so much, we decided that we want to get married?

Does it somehow affect chances of getting visa approved or not? I mean, I’m sure it shouldn’t, but still, I would like to know more info!

I would like to hear your experience!

Thanks in advance 😊

It was asked also for our CR1

He responded that we met and spent months together and fell in love and decided to marry although he did ask and sent ring thru the mail

I would say it was a joint decision after getting to know each other and u have the same interests and dreams for the future
