Message we received:

We are unable to accept these documents as uploaded. Please add "Joe" as a Household Member under "Mary". All documents for "Joe" should be submitted under their own name.

Hello everyone,

Here is the situation- my wife (Mary) applied for her parents and filled out I-864 which was marked as accepted. She doesn't have enough income so I (Joe) filled out I-864A which was rejected with the explanation as noted above. I submitted the I-864A under "Additional AOS supporting document for Mary- Form I-864A contract between sponsor and household member."

When we filled out the I-864 I was listed as a household member.

The summary page of CEAC has both AOS and Civil Documents marked as accepted however when I clink into AOS section it has I-864A status as rejected.

Could someone please clarify what they are requesting?

Thank you!!
