Hey y’all, i applied for a B1/B2 in the Embassy of Buenos Aires in 2018. I was put under administrative processing (221g) and sent my documents that were listed on the Green Slip. I’ve never got an answer back and I think the pandemic made my case abandoned.

Should I reapply again? Will they put me under AP again?

Keep in mind, I was 15 at that time. Now i’m turning 23 and i’m a student with a solid base here in Argentina. I even renewed my passport because the one i made the visa with, has already expired.

I might do a follow up first.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

I agree, following up is important. I believe there's a question on DS-160 whether you were ever denied visa to the US before. OP would need to know the answer. Making answer up without knowing what happened may cause misrep accusation and another denial.

I think there’s nothing to follow up, 7 years is waaaay too long. But i will do it anyways

7 years is long for a young person, but not long for DOS. They sometimes uncover things that happened 27 years ago.

You need to know the outcome of that application for your benefit.

It is technically a refusal, this is what appears on the CEAC page. It says refused, but it is still under the administrative processing. Last update was in 2022. I even renewed my passport cause it was expired.IMG_9712.thumb.jpeg.e3d3986e3f6e73e99ce7f42ea66b3271.jpeg
