Just curious if anyone has a recent timeline example for the eb5 visa from document qualified (dq) to interview letter (il) and then visa interview? We were dq’d on March 24/25 and have heard different time ranges of 60 to 90 days up to 1 year for interview letter. Appreciate your responses.

Montreal is slow, timeline should be the same for the other EB categories.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

It’s a year, they update it regularly on their website.

Good luck.

Since MTL is moving very slowly, I wanted to ask if anyone here—or anyone you know—has recently received EB-5 IL or visa from MTL. If so, could you please share what your DQ (Documentarily Qualified) date was? I’m curious if EB-5 cases are being issued IL on the same timeline (12 months delay) or if they’re experiencing longer delays.

All EB categories are treated the same.

You can also check it here - https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/iv-wait-times.html

It’s currently 14 months so unless timings change you can expect you IL around May next year if you were DQ’ed in March, probably for an interview around July time.

Good luck.

That's what I'm trying to confirm. According to the consulate website: "Most employment-based cases were documentarily complete in <date>." [ https://ca.usembassy.gov/immigrant-visa-process/ ]

I'm interested in understanding what they mean by "most cases"—specifically, whether this includes all categories. If anyone in the EB-5 category with a documentary qualified date from early 2024 has received or is currently waiting for an interview letter from the Montreal consulate, please share your experience here or feel free to direct message me.

I'm guessing, but it probably just means 'most cases except for those that have been expedited' or similar situations. If yours is standard processing then you should be included in 'most cases'.
