Doesn't say anything was ever done while he was on the clock.

True, but it doesn't say otherwise either. Although based on the information in the article it would seem to indicate that keeping this separate from his time on the clock was not a consideration. The article does state that he did give her his office number and his government issued cell phone number. Additionally he told the girl who he was and that he worked for Homeland Security.

I think if he had been doing it at work the Federal Police would have nabbed him at work, not at his home.

Plus, I sure if there was any proof of him breathin heavy on the phone or yanking on the joy stick while on the computer at work it wouldn't have been left out of the story.

I'm not saying what he did if true is right, just that you can't assume he was a slacker at work or hang this on DHS.

Just consider this is the original press release...there is much that has yet to be said about this man....regardless of on the clock or not WE are paying this man...

*clears throat*

Let's not lose site of the fact that he was chatting with a MINOR! This wasn't regular circle-jerk chat.

One other thing to consider here...If he thought he was dealing with a minor in this instance, there is no telling how many minors he had done this sort of thing with in the past...Certainly this wasn't the first time and he just got caught..highly unlikely in my mind...

As a government employee I just think that what you do on your own time isn't any of work's business. If I put in 8 hours and do my job they have nothing to say if want to go home and drown cats. Not that I would ever drown a cat. They swim too well. LOL
