We are same Our case was sent to the Department of State on June 17, but we have not received any updates. We should also send an inquiry too

You should. But they are also responding to inquiry slow. Someone whose case got sent to department of state on June 16 also received the welcome letter last Tuesday… I was expecting to receive mine last week too but nothing yet.

Our case was sent to the department of state on June 17 but so far we haven’t received any email or case number from NVC yet. I checked the NVC website and they states that they are now working on cases that were received from USCIS on June 30, does it mean that our case got skipped or delayed? My fiancé also filed a public inquiry last week but so far no response.

We were on the same state, I had been waiting 3 to 4 weeks to hear from NVC, so I send an inquiry and within 1 week, they sent me information that our case was already sent a week before to the Consulate and they gave me the new NOA 2 #, then I emailed the consulate for more information of how to schedule an interview and within a couple of days we had instructions and more.

When you send your inquiry don't forget to send a copy of your NOA 1 letter and your case # from USCIS

It's all about consistency and being patient, super hard to do because this process takes way too long.

Good luck,

Angie

Updates:

NVC responded our inquiry and we received our NVC case number today! After checking, our case is still at NVC.

They also gave us an Invoice ID number, but I’m not sure what to do with it or what we are given it for.

Congrats

We are still waiting for a case number

I know I am late to the party here, but has anyone taken in to consideration that the applications are split between California and the Texas office in relation to where the Petitioner lives.  I am seeing that California was processing almost 1 month ahead of Texas up until this week (As per Track my Visa). As of yesterday California has started processing January 2025 which Texas has only recently jumped from November.  It also appears like they skipped the first 2 weeks in December and jumped straight from November to mid December.  I keep an eye on both VJ & Track my Visa and try to read the blurred lines.  Just to make it worse the VJ timing is also a bit out NVC are quoting they are processing cases within 2 weeks not 82 days.  please let me know if I am reading this wrong. days.  https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/nvc-timeframes.html

I've been told that Texas service center only does other visa types, not K-1.  My I-129F is being processed in California and I live in Texas.

Hello Friends,

Great news on my end, my fiancé was approved this week, and his visa was approved then just today it states that it has been issued.

Now we are waiting for him to get an email/text or something stating that is ready for pick.

Not sure how long that takes, does anyone know? But we are super excited that he should be here hopefully by the end of this month :)
