They only sent out 5 cases per day to DOS????😳

Same here skipped range. It's so unfair becuse we're waiting extra long to DOS now. Those got NOA2 a week before us already sent to DOS a month ago. I don't understand at all...

Anyway hopefully we can hear back soon, if they really stick to the time order. There's no way they skip cases to DOS again.

Hi, I just looked online today, and 22 cases have been sent to DOS, that is 12 more cases, Yay, hoping someone on this group chat were part of those batches. It looks like things are moving but just slower than usual.

May I know where to check how many cases are sent to DOS?

Yup, I've noticed that too. Those that received their NOA2 mid to like 25th March were sent to DOS mostly in around 40 days.

Then USCIS thought it's normal so they took 2+ weeks to send April 1st and 2nd cases which they still haven't finished so no wonder that we're now waiting 2+ months. And not just that but the fact they don't even respect order for this part of the process is infuriating so I have to see April 4th sent before me.

My fiancé and I are now stuck at the "Ready" CEAC status since May 23 with no news from my consulate yet. Sometimes you gain time and lose some elsewhere 😆 I hope that all of us skipped batch couples can be reunited by August/September 🙏

Which consulate is going to process you? You may not have to wait for something from them depending on the consulate

Unfortunately that part is completely embassy dependent as opposed to the rest of the process.

Montreal

@Ontarkie do you know if Montreal makes you wait for an email before you can start the process for the K-1 once the CEAC status has changed to "Ready"?

July 3rd filer, UK, new to the forum, hi everyone 🙏. Still no update for me, hasn't even been looked at. Trying to not become discouraged. The timing for us has been awful as my daughter is currently in her Pre-GCSE year so come September she will be starting her exam year. We really had hoped to hear something by now or at least the ball to start rolling. 336 days and counting 😮‍💨

You will not get an invoice number from NVC for K-1 applications

They will not schedule a K-1 visa appointment for you. The NVC only does that for immigrant visas. You will have to schedule the appointment yourself, but some embassies make you wait until they send you an email with instructions. That's why I tagged the person in the comment above because I don't know if Montreal makes you wait or not. Manila did not make us wait, we were able to sign up to the appointment website, fill out the DS-160, pay the fee and start searching for available appointments as soon as our case went to "Ready" status

I just called Montreal consulate and told the lady I have a case number and a ready status in CEAC, what should I wait for? And she said NVC instructions not Montreal. This is so confusing
