Question 2a on the I-129f form asks if you have ever committed various crimes including domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault etc..

when I was 19 I got into an argument with my ex and pushed her down.  I was charged with simple assault and criminal trespass.  (This happened at her mother’s house).  This was 18 years ago.  I put no to the answer because we did not co habitate, so it wouldn’t be considered DV.  But I had never heard of dating violence and it was never in my life brought up like that.  Reading various sites this crime could be considered dating violence.  I didn’t find anything on here about anyone talking about dating violence.

I still disclosed the simple assault and trespass on with the i129f with a description of what happened.  Should I be worried?
