I feel your pain - I'm 5ft so finding clothes to fit is tough! But you're really overthinking this. Just make sure none of the clothes have tags on, and mark them as used. Job done.

Wish I could sew! I have found a lot more options here for petites though so that's good.

Very pleased for you! Me, I started sewing at age 12 as all trousers were too long and it became a good hobby, and I got trained too as a Tayloress, which was fun!
