Hi Everybody,

We will have the interview late March but wife can not (therefore kids) fulfill vaccine requirements due her religious and moral convictions. I have no problem, already fully vaccinated for Covid-19 and am willing to receive any other required vaccines during the medical exam. We will definitely file I-601 after our interview but a few questions as follows.

1- Can we file one single I-601 for my wife and kids ? Or do we need to file them separately ?

2- Do I still have a chance to get my GC after the interview as being the principal applicant ,

Thanks in advance for your kind help and have a great day ahead.

Have the wife/kids had other vaccines?  If so, very unlikely they will get a waiver.

Wife has not been received any vaccination since her childhood. Kids had to receive some certain ones as it is an obligation here in Turkey. Most critical part is that if they could approve my GC while pending the rest on I-601. We have a lawyer who has been helping us on our case but seems like he doesn’t like to involve in I-601 for a reason I don’t understand. That’s why I tried to gain some knowledge here.

Right, what I’m saying is that it is unlikely that a waiver would be approved since they have had vaccinations in the past.   You can’t “pick and choose” which vaccinations you’ll get if your objection is moral/religious.
