CEAC?

Do you have a question?

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

the visa interview at the Islamabad embassy in the USA for Pakistan Immigration was approved. No additional documents were requested. However, the CEAS status indicates a refusal for one applicant and 3 applicants are showing issued It is unclear why this has occurred. The category is F3. Although my date has been updated after two days, the status remains unchanged. The embassy officials extended their congratulations. Plz y this confusing status

It's perfectly normal and nothing to worry about. The status goes to 'refused' (which is different from 'denied') after the interview, it's whilst they do background checks ('AP'). AP can take a few days, a few weeks, a few months, or longer. Nothing you can do but wait until it's complete and the status changes to issued.

Good luck.

No, the others have had their visas issued so you'l have their passports shortly.

Was it an adult male that has been put in to AP?

Quite normal, I would think they are doing extended background checks.

Is it possible tjat they will give the passports at the same time. Or they will give the passport late for the refusal applicant

It is possibly but I think unlikely.
