Just a little note to let you know we had our interview today at Immigration. We had officer Whaling. She was actually quite pleasent. Our total interview time was maybe 15 minutes MAX....I'm not sure if that's good or bad. She said that she would review our file and send us a decision in the mail. Our Atty had told us in advance that is how she usuallly ends the interview. Our Atty also said that he thought it went well....he would really tell us if he thought it didn't....wouldn't he?? She did not remove Atif's I-94 from his Passport. She asked us how we met and when..and we told her and then I mentioned when we got married....she seemed to have a problem with the 4 month time period, and asked me about what my parents thought about it--and for some unknown reason I wasn't tactful about the fact that my parents have "passed-on".....LOL.....I bluntly said "they're dead"....I have NO IDEA WHY I said it like that. :o I did mention that I had discussed the plans to marry Atif with my Aunt and that she had spoken to Atif several times before I went to Morocco. That seemed to ease her a bit...just my opinion. Then she proceeded to ask me about my son. Then asked Atif how old my son was and what school he went to and what grade he was going into--Atif said 4th and I corrected him that he's going into the 3rd. I hope that we hear positively from her. Give me your feelings about my version of the interview if you don't mind. Now I'm beginning to worry worse than I think I was when he was going before the Consulate . Just call me batty!! :bonk:
