Does anyone watch Indian Idol? Whose your favorite? What did you think of the showdown between the judges last week about the "love" comment?

i didnt watch the judges comment last week but my favourite is emon and more better singer than him is amit paul.

I like Amit Paul, Ankita and Deepali. :) Btw, I dont have any real favorite one but may the best one win. I have only been watching since gala round (coincidently).

Oh, I like Emon too. I really think his voice is smooth and he has a funny personality (I don't think he is overconfident like Anu keeps saying). I like Puja too. I am not a big fan of Ankita, she seems to sing the same fast songs everytime. And Prashant should be the next to go. :-)

I really wish they would create a round where they have to sing older songs, maybe from the 60s or 70s. That would really show their vocal range.

This is the first year I have watched it too, we get it on dish on Sony TV.

yes even i was thinking how to get these indian channels i am little crazy about these kindda shows n

ankita seems a good singer as far as her lyrics is heard but her voice is bit like males n also she is so boring same kinnda fast songs time n again :(

It is actually possible to download and/or watch all the episodes of Indian Idol, Saregamapa, and Star Voice of India on www.muft.tv. Check it out.

My favorite show is actually Saregamapa. The quality of singers on that IMO is way better than Idol.

It is actually possible to download and/or watch all the episodes of Indian Idol, Saregamapa, and Star Voice of India on www.muft.tv. Check it out.

My favorite show is actually Saregamapa. The quality of singers on that IMO is way better than Idol.

yes u r right in one way singers are bit more better in saregama

but due to the coming gala finals indian idol is at par at hype

this topic aint be discussed here but since it is put up in here my view is only person its first Indian Idol AHBIJEET Sawant from Mumbai.... the later 2 versions I saw there was voting on basis of regions an caste.. It was like people were fighting regionally between India and lot of people didnt vote for right candidates.... Abhijeet Sawant is the best and got perfect voting.... Even in that First Season.. Rahul Vaidya was very good but he was stuck on Sonu Nigam Syndrome which didnt help him at all and public voted him out.....

December 18, 2009 - Biometrics Completed at 9 am.

January 13, 2010 - Receive I-797E Notice for more evidence

February 16, 2010 - Mail reaches Californa Service Center( Next day of Preseidents Day)

February 19, 2010 - Card Production Ordered. Status now IR1

Nope, you are right. Indian Idol was won by Prashant, the Police guy. What a loooong finale show they had for that too.

But the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa finale is supposed to be this weekend. It's down to three finalists.
