I-129F Payment

Hey guys, a quick question regarding payment for the I-129F. Basically my fiancee is a dual UK & US citizen. The new instruction sheet states that the check or money order must be drawn on a bank or financial institution located in the US. She doesnt have a US bank account. Then further down the sheet it says if you live outside the US, contact the nearest embassy for instructions on the payment method. Contacted the embassy in London and they were no help whatsoever. Any ideas?

I'm in the exact same problem in Berlin. I dont want to do anything wrong to have them reject the application, and make the long process even longer :(

American Express has an office here but they apparently dont do money orders anymore since end of '06, if I understood the man correctly over the phone.

Please help! Where can I get a money order in U.S. dollars that USCIS will accept.

We are the exact same situation ... I just called the US Embassy - as recommended here -

"If you live outside the United States, Guam, or the U.S.

Virgin Islands, contact the nearest U.S. consulate or

embassy for instructions on the method of payment."

And they told me that my fiance would have to contact the place in the US where she needs ro fil - ie - California!!!

Can anyone clear this up?

Have a friend or relative in the US buy a money order or just write a check for you and send it to you for inclusion with your filing. Or, send your package to that friend and have them add a check or money order and forward it on.
