I had my visa interview on the 10th of May and was refused under 221g . I submitted what the consular officer asked me to . It’s been 3 months since my interview . They took my passport on the day of the interview . It’s been with them for 3 months . I’ve sent enquiries through the Accra answers form but still nothing . Anybody have an idea how long administrative processing takes place at the US Accra embassy and how do I even get a response from them . They are saying nothing .

I’m not familiar with the Accra answers form. Maybe try emailing the embassy at IVAccra@state.gov. What does your status say on ceac and when was the last update?

You submitted the documents through DHL?

I would definitely send an email to the address above. My experience is that it may take a couple of weeks to get an answer.

This is an IR2 visa?

If you don’t hear back, have your family in the US contact their congress person or senator to inquire on your behalf.

I know someone who was told to add additional documentation and he sent it through DHL, it took him less than 2 weeks for his visa to be issued
