:help: Hi guys,

I sent my application out last Tuesday and just wondering how long it took before you got the letter back that they got your application. Also, do they cash your check right away?

Any help or info you may have is greatly appreciated! :thumbs:

I'm going to travel the world when I get my US passport

Arrived to the US: 09 Jul, 1997

Permanent Resident since: 09 Jul, 1997

Mailed N-400: 07/24/07

NSC Received N-400: 07/26/07

Date Green Domestic Return Receipt Request returned: 08/01/07

Check cashed: 08/01/07

NOA1 date: 09/10/07

Recieved NOA1: 09/14/07

FP notice received: 09/14/07

FP date: 10/03/07

Interview letter received: 03/15/08

Interview date: 04/15/08

Oath date: 05/07/08

It took 288 days for me to complete my journey

It depends on the local office. Try to find people who are going through the same local office as you to get an idea.

CR-1

02/05/07 - I-130 sent to NSC

05/03/07 - NOA2

05/10/07 - NVC receives petition, case # assigned

08/08/07 - Case Complete

09/27/07 - Interview, visa granted

10/02/07 - POE

11/16/07 - Received green card and Welcome to America letter in the mail

Removing Conditions

07/06/09 - I-751 sent to CSC

08/14/09 - Biometrics

09/27/09 - Approved

10/01/09 - Received 10 year green card

U.S. Citizenship

03/30/11 - N-400 sent via Priority Mail w/ delivery confirmation

05/12/11 - Biometrics

07/20/11 - Interview - passed

07/20/11 - Oath ceremony - same day as interview
