K1-FTP and Case Ready (London)

My fiancee recieved the K1-FTP and our case on the CEAC is at a ready status, are the next steps now for us to complete the DS-160 and schedule the medical and interview?

The K1-FTP stated that the "The U.S. Embassy or Consulate will contact your fiancé (e)/spouse when they are
ready to process his or her petition."

Do we need to wait for me to receive a letter or email from the consulate in London, before we can go ahead and schedule the interview and medical?

Sorry if this is the wrong section

Try dropping into the UK regional forum.  I am sure there are dozens of threads on this topic already

You don't need to wait for a letter from London. They do send one but it's so slow some people have visa on hand before they see the letter. You just need ready status then book your medical and interview yourself.

You need at least 10 days between medical and interview else you may be refused pending medical results.

Thank you for this information, I will go ahead and get both of those scheduled!

There's so much confusing information around this so your help is super appreciated, we wanted to make sure we didn't do anything wrong!
