Visa medicals London

Hi all,

I have my appointment next week at Visa medicals in London.  I have my patient summary care records which also details my vaccines (or lack of) but it's in my maiden name.  Is there any issue with this?  I can take proof of name change with me?

Also, for those who travel in from outside of London, where did you park?  I'm coming in from South Wales and wondered if it's best to park at a train station outside of London and train/tube in?

Thanks

Hi, I would say definitely take proof of the name change and marriage certificate etc.

In terms of logistics, if you can, park in Westfield (Shepherd’s Bush) and then walk to the White City underground station and take the central line to Bond Street. The tube ride takes about 20mins according to Google Maps

Westfield is paid parking, I think it’s about £9 if you are there for 2-14hrs and about £6 if you are there for an hour.

Good luck!

Thanks for the help here.

One more question, I received an email from Vis medicals saying they no longer need passport photos.  Has anyone been recently and can confirm this please?

Thanks

Yes, they take photos when you arrive.

Also, for parking we parked here and it was great - just outside the congestion zone and a 10 minute walk from VM.

Thanks!  And for the confirmation of the photo.
