I didn't think the intent at CBP mattered for immediate relatives adjusting once the paperwork was filed? Ditto for the overstay?

AFAIK immediate relative still can be hit with misrepresentation, which makes them inadmissible? Then the whole I-601 comes into play.

I am curious which field office because it really affects the wait time.

The last time I looked at the "80% of cases adjudicated" numbers it ranged from 13 months ( Phoenix AZ ) to 38 months ( Salt Lake City UT ) If OP is covered by a field office with a big backlog like SLC, maybe it also delays post interview decisions ?

Im just curious why they're taking so long to approved my I-485. I dont have any plans or staying here when i got here, and i told that to the officer and he just said ok, and he didn't get upset or mad about it, and after that he said hes gonna recommend us an approval,, I-130 already approved.
