Are you EB2 or EB2-NIW? Do you have another job lined up for after this one ends?

Im EB2 NIW - no job lined up. I didnt think there was much point if my interview isnt long after the contract ends (perhaps the wrong take to have?)

If you're NIW then you don't need things like payslips, as no job is required for that visa category. You should take an up to date CV and could take a reference letter just to prove you've been doing the job that you have applied under, but I wouldn't worry about anything else.

Good luck.

Hello, Everyone. Has anyone received IL for the month of September yet? Eb1 or Eb2 IL? any news will be very refreshing to hear.

One of my pals, who shifted his case from Lagos to Bridgetown, received his IL yesterday. He transferred his case before USCIS's new directory. Excellent news for him!

@appleblossom is there a timeframe when the London Embassy sends out ILs? Because I know from latest chats from applicants on this forum that they do theirs at the beginning of each month. I might be mistaken there.

Both EB2 and EB1 are paused because of the quota being met. IL's can be sent at any time, and occasionally even twice a month. Generally it was towards the end of the month, but they can do it anytime so I wouldn't get fixed on a certain time.

USCIS have nothing to do with interviews by the way.

Hello everyone,

I had my Eb2 niw interview at london embassy in June and case went to AP. I haven’t heard anything back. However, I have  got a new position in my company internally and it is in US. The company wants to apply for my L1 visa. My question is having my green card application in AP will L1 visa application work? What are the chances it also goes into AP? Or not? Chances I will get L1? Will L1 application delay my already ongoing process? Or not? I am very confused and worried. Please guide me.

Very much depends why you in extended AP.

As Boiler said it will depend on the reason for it. If it's due to your country of birth (for example) then that will be the case no matter what you apply for. Whereas if it's something that is visa specific, the L1 may be granted without AP being needed.

You haven't filled in your timeline or profile, please do - it 'pays it forward' and helps other EB applicants, but more importantly it also makes it easier for us to help you when you ask a question. Thx.

I am not sure, what is the reason for AP. They didn’t mention that. It’s been more than 3 months. Will L1 application make sense or I should wait for my eb2?

Is your job on the TAL list, were you born in a high fraud country, or a country where records have to be checked manually (or have ties to one)? Those would be obvious reasons for AP, and therefore will likely be the same no matter which visa you apply for.

If there is really no obvious reason for AP, then perhaps a L1 application may be treated differently.

Unfortunately, because you were born in Pakistan, you’ll likely also be put into AP for an L1.

Oh yes, if @cherryblossom70 was born in Pakistan, then lengthy AP is pretty much inevitable no matter which visa s/he applies for.
