I just received this notice in my mail dated Nov. 22, 2022. When I filed my AOS last Sept. 16, 2022, I included my vaccination record DS-3025 which was dated May 5, 2022. It says here if I have not yet submitted the form I-693 I may do so to expedite my processing BUT it also says here that this notice is not the formal request for evidence. Anyone here  got this kind of letter? What did you do guys? Did you submit without the formal request of evidence? Do I have to wait for the formal request for evidence so I will know what kind of vaccines do I need? Thanks in advance for the reply

Heck I wish we go this letter.

If all that is needed to expedite the I-485 is to pay a Civil Surgeon 300-400 for another medical, I'd say it is worth it.

Just follow the direction and send the I-693 with the attached letter, even if you have a valid DS-3025.

@confusedsoul Hi, I was in the same situation and received the exact courtesy notice.  My vaccination record DS3025 was dated in May. I filed AoS in October and got that notice yesterday (dec 30). Did you end up filing the i693? Is your application based on spousal relationship, if yes, have you submitted the martial relationship evidence on your original application and what were they?

Hi Thuyle !  I contacted USCIS thru Emma and the representative I chatted she said I will submit the information once the USCIS sends a request  or I will take that to the interview . I came here as a K1. I just included marriage cert and some wedding pictures when I submit my AOS. I really want to do the medical now and submitted it to expedite my AOS as what the letter says but what I am worried now is that if I do my medical and submitted it to them then a week or a  month I will receive the request then I will do another medical because the doctor will not give me another copy of it. Please try to contact the USCIS next week and let us see if they will say the same thing to you to wait for the request of evidence then kindly updated me here. Thanks in Advance and Happy New Year.

@confusedsoulhi, I chatted with Emma but apparently it’s a chat bot, so I couldn’t get any clear answer. However, as I read the letter again, seems like that notice is just for everyone, and not official for any specific case, so I think I will just wait till I receive the official Request for Evidence.

Sorry, I couldnt give you any useful information. But whatever  you choose to do, I wish you luck.

@confusedsoul hi, just wanna update you, I received an official request for evidence letter. And they don’t ask for the form i693. So maybe you don’t need to worry about it.

Hi! Thats great at least you can reply now to them. Unfortunately, i haven't gotten any letter from them. It's been 2 months since the courtesy letter. May I know what they asked from you in the rfe

Hi, they asked for the evidence of our martial life as:

- doc of joint ownership of property

- lease showing the same residence

- joint bank account, joint utilities bills, joint insurance policies, etc

- birth certificate of children together

- photos of wedding and other events

- sworn affidavits from people knowing our valid marriage
