K1 Visa, marriage. Now AOS xfer from MSC to CSC.

Do AOS xfers from MSC to CSC for those that came in on a K1 Visa result in no AOS Interview?

Our AOS case was transferred to CSC today. I have seen posts where some believe that this means we will not have to attend an interview. OK, well that's what the general thinking seemed to be.

Does anyone know anything about this?

Yes, it most likely means you won't need to have an interview.

(edited to add... there have apparently been a handful of people on here who've had their cases transferred from CSC to their local office and who've had to have an interview - but the vast majority seem to be approved without!)

Usually yes transfers to CSC do not have a interview.

On saying this also remember that you can still receive RFE's and if the officer looking at your case feels that a interview is necessary they can and have transferred to the local office. The vast majority of cases that get transferred however do not get interviewed.

I bet you will get your AOS approved in the next couple days. We have similar dates with transfer to CSC touches etc and we were approved tonight at 11:31 PM... YES. I saw a couple others with similar transfer dates, touches, etc like ours that were already approved with no interview. Good luck!
