Expired forms on London Embassy website???

Packet 3 directs to forms on the London Embassy website at

http://london.usembassy.gov/cons_new/visa/.../visaforms.html

Looking through the required forms I noticed that most of them seem to be expired. Specifically, DS-230-I Part I (expires 5/31/04), DS-157 (7/31/05), and DS-156K (05/31/04). Is this a problem if I submit these? Why would the embassy use expired forms?

I wouldn't recommend filling out the expired forms, and there shouldn't be a problem with using the updated ones.

I am not sure why the forms have not been updated on the embassy's website. You can use this link to get it from the US State Department: http://www.state.gov/m/a/dir/forms/

In most cases the "Expire date" is not when the form is no longer valid, that date has to do with a survey period conducted by Office of Management and Budget (OMB), to do with paperwork reduction, and comment period on making changes to that version of the form.
