Print Policy Memo from May, 2021 and take it with you to the interview in case you get bad vibes. It highlights that registering needs to be “ knowingly “ and “ willfully “ as well as recognizing some ineligible registrations resulted from DMV campaign.

You can also make a request to see the actual clicked on pages so that you have evidence that you “ did not complete or sign ( digitally) the voter registration section nor marked yes to the question on citizenship.

So you will argue that you did NOT complete / sign voter registration, nor did you claim you were a USC and immediately took action to correct DMV error plus most importantly, you never voted.

https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/document/policy-manual-updates/20210527-VoterRegistration.pdf

Policy Highlights
• Clarifies that USCIS will not penalize an applicant who unknowingly or unwilfully registers to vote.
• Clarifies that USCIS does not consider an applicant to have unlawfully registered to vote if the applicant did not complete or sign the voter registration section (including electronic signature, if applicable) in the motor vehicle or other state benefit application.
