Anyone with experience making an appointment at ANY Colombian Embassy in the USA?

My wife is a permanent resident in the USA now. She's been here for almost 11 years. Her Colombian passport is expired. So she needs to make an appointment at a Colombian embassy to get a new one. All of the different office say that you can make an appointment on their website. But it's actually impossible to do. They have a calendar to click on an open date for an appointment, but every day is grayed out. I've skipped ahead like 4 years and no way to make an appointment. You can't call because no one answers. You can email but get no response. Has anyone had any experience making an appointment?  I want to just show up early in the morning with my wife but we would have to travel by air to any of the embassies because of where we live. Any help or advice is appreciated. Thanks!

No hands on experience w this embassy but hair pulling hands on w others….Hopefully you get many responses . In the meantime suggestions:

1. Google to see if Mobile Consular is back in action near your area, example

2. Am assuming you completed the SITAC app

3. Email an Urgent Please Help/ Complaint on the non responsive consulate unit you have been dealing with/ include the SITAC app number , directly to the Ambassador

If you get nowhere , then you start emailing the Ambassadors direct Jeffe , so to speak
