At a U.S embassy? I am currently living in The Dominican Republic, I for one is of Dominican heritage but born and raised in the U.S. Is it possible to bring all the documents listed in the "how to guide" to the embassy instead of mailing it?

Thanks

Are you talking about the K1 petition? I'm assuming that you're the petitioner, or are you the beneficiary?

The K1 petitions have to be mailed to either of the Service Centers in the US. They can't be dropped off at the embassy since the case is only sent there after it's approved by USCIS. The consulate has nothing to do with the case beforehand.

You, the USC, need to snet the application for K-1 or K-3 to the service center in the USA nearest ro your US address.

You can't file anything through the embassy, they will take care of the final procedures once the case has been approved and the beneficiary needs to have the final interview there to obtain the visa.

NNNyc,

Read the I-129f instructions - the answer to your question is quite clear.
