hello i had my interview on april 13 at the embassy they wanted me to take my fingerprints but the machine was failing but the officer approved my life (he gave me the approval sheet) and gave me a 221g for the fingerprints, the following week they sent me the form ds-5535 which I completed and sent on April 24 (English and Spanish) I have not had a response from them, they updated the date several times but nothing, I have written to them but they send me an auto mail

can take the embassy weeks,  months or as long as a year to complete the extra security checks for the ds 5535
