Does anyone happen to know how backlogged the Embassy in Khartoum is? Are they even offering interviews?

Most routine visa services are still suspended, but they say they are processing immediate relative visas.  Check here -- https://sd.usembassy.gov/visas/

Thank you! I wonder how far behind they are with their backlog. I wish there was a way for us to check that for all the countries

Salam Lola , I am waiting for my Case Complete in NVC (will be very soon) and then will wait for the US Embassy in Khartoum to schedule my interview , not sure even they have that or not ! , I believe we have to wait and see.

so would an IR5 for my parents be suspended or would that be still in queue?

I think they would still be in the queue because they are processing immediate relatives and limited family preferences.

 

They are moving at an incredibly slow rate this year compared to when the pandemic hit. Not sure exactly what's going on this year. I understand there are protests as well but the protests have been going for a while now.
