DV lottery 2023

Hello to this group!
Please I really need your best advice  in this case please. You see my sister was selected for the 2023 dv lottery, but during her entry in the October application she was married to a particular man, which he used as her couple during the DV registration but they are now  divorce, and she is recently married to a new husband a month ago.

So is it OK if she changes her marital status to her new husband while filling the DS260 form and go with him for the interview. Or forget it and go for the interview alone when called for it to avoid denials.
What's your take please advise me on the best line of action to take in other to avoid denials 🙏

Her only course of action is to tell the truth. Obviously when she listed herself as married in the DV entry she gave her spouse details. So she will need to provide both the marriage and divorce certificates from that marriage, and the marriage certificate from the new marriage.  Regardless whether she goes to the interview alone or not she needs to provide all these documents.
If she married the current husband after she was notified of selection (it’s not clear from your post if this is the case) they may be expected to provide evidence to show the marriage is genuine and not a “green card marriage”.

Sorry but I think I said month ago. That is before the lottery is out.

So what are there chances, if she and her new husband decide to go for the interview together.

🙄 people can say “a month ago” and not all mean the same thing, some mean it more vaguely. If you mean 3pm PST April 30, great, that’s a month ago.

I don’t know how to answer your second sentence in any way different than what I’ve said before. I have no idea of the details of their marriage or relationship. It will not make any difference to her whether she goes alone or with him, she is still married.
