Hi Dear!

 

I wrote email to NVC to “opt out” of converting from F2B to F1 as my petitioner became Citizen. F1 is not even current in visa bulletin. My case is “Documentarily Qualified” at NVC & am expecting interview at US consulate in 2-3 months time. Why they did this below? 😂

I got following reply today:

”Dear Sir/Madam:

 

We received the Petitioner's proof of citizenship and upgraded the visa classification of your petition. Your new visa classification is F1.

 

The correspondence submitted is currently under review. An appropriate action will be taken once this review is completed.
