Delaying / Postponing Your Case At NVC

Is there a reference or body of anecdotal evidence that indicates that withholding submission of the DS-260 past one year will have no adverse effect regarding termination of a case provided the actions above are taken?

 

I'm on the same boat. I'm hesitant to fill out ds260 because it looks like if i fill it out, it will be sent to interview scheduled? 

 

Wondering what's your experience with this and if anyone else has any input.

If I may chime in.. For IR ( spouse , child or parent of USC), it is sufficient to do an ASK NVC inquiry saying “ I need additional time  due to unforeseen circumstances “. Do it every 11 mo
