Hey, I’m just wondering if anyone applied for the sb-1 visa in Trinidad and had their interview in December and are still awaiting the return of their passports? My parents were approved and given an approval letter but are still waiting a month plus later for their passports to be returned. I know there is a significant backlog but I just wanted to gauge the time frame for possible return.

Well no one seemed to have known but I got in contact with the embassy in Trinidad and they told me for this process it takes 22–28 working days to process the visa once approved and it in fact was issued on the 27th working day in this case. So I hope this helps someone else looking for answers.
