I am so sad to hear that. I have similar situation with you. My application was received by DOS at April 2022 and my J will expire next month. I also have to leave soon. My US citizen kid will lose medical care as well.

Was your application forwarded by USCIS in April 2022? or DOS uploaded it in April? In my case DOS took 5 months just to upload an electronic communication (i-612/i-613) with USCIS.

I wish they publish real processing times. Like what's the average time for those 262 hardship cases from 2021?

Yeah. I doubt they will ever do it, because it will be well outside of their estimated processing times.

I just was always under an impression that once the USCIS forwards the I-612/613, that meant that they did find an extreme hardship, so I dont understand how there still can be 7 Unfavorables.

My case has been with USCIS for almost 6 months now and they haven't sent me anything, no RFE, and have not forwarded it to DOS either. It's getting depressing.

Is your case received by USCIS around May? Do you have any updates on yours? Mine is already 6 mos with them and no updates whatsoever. 😔
