Do you think the DOS always asks for the sponsor's view if someone applying for the waiver had Fulbright or any government funding? Can someone verify this?

The lawyer told me that when US government funding is involved , the DOS will always request sponsor views which ends up delaying the process even more. He also said that sponsor views are political and almost always negative . Not very encouraging but unfortunately I am afraid he is right.

My I-612 was to sent DOS on Nov. 17, 2021 by the USCIS. 10 months later and no update on the DOS website. Any suggestions?

I asked multiple times for an update to the 212 email and ask your lawyer to do it too. I don’t know if that contributed but it happened at about the same time

Last email was the 19th. My lawyer did it that day too. Prior to that on August (twice)

Hi guys, I just submitted to USCIS, how can I track my case when it is in the USCIS?  Will I receice a case number to track it? Thanks a lot for any information.

You will receive a receipt notice in a few weeks with a case number. You can create an account on the USCIS website and follow the case.

It will be mailed as a letter. Did you use a lawyer?
