Hi all, I realize it is too late for me to ask this question but I am a few days shy of the six-month mark of the K1-visa (waiting for NOA2) and I am deathly worried that my fiance's application will be denied.

So the situation is, I am from Indonesia but I'm situated in Canada (for studies); so I have an Indonesian citizenship and I am here on a study permit. So everything from future interview and such is going to be done within Canada as opposed to my home country.

Now my question is: is USCIS going to process this, knowing that I, the beneficiary, am not residing in my country of citizenship (Indonesia) during the entirety of the process?

Yes, no problem. It is very common and nothing USCIS is concerned about.

The most important thing is stating your current address so you get interviewed in Canada and not Indonesia.

Thanks for letting me know! I appreciate it.
