Hi guys. 

With all this situation with codiv I didn't get all the documents at time for 30th September and I couldn't add to the process my baby. It was because  the medical take forever to give to us the medical and for that reason I didn't send all the documents at time. So now the embassy told us we can't do anything by email and they sent back our passport but with a letter saying about the case of GomesvBiden ,  we didn't get a refusal letter so we're confused about it.

Sounds like you’re not eligible for this year’s DV, since you didn’t comply with the requirements.

DV2021 FY is over, it ended on Sept. 30th so the embassy can no longer issue visas to DV2021 selectees. They however referred you to the GomezvBiden case which has reserved some visas to be issued. How and when those will be issued are still being worked out as not everyone will eventually get a visa as a result of that judgment. Google “britsimonsays” and visit his blog for more on this.

No, it is not about not being eligible due to non compliance.
