I was approved and had my visa interview.  They said.I was approved and gave directions to send my passport to them. Now they are saying I need a support member to continue the process. My son is making more than the required amount for the poverty guideline butter they are asking for additional support. If not for my 8yr old I would have told them to keep It.

Hello,

Could you fill out your timeline and/or answer a few questions?

What visa?  IR5?

Where is your 8 yrs old?  With you in Barbados?

If it is IR5, and petitioned by one of your children, then who will take care of your 8 yrs old child when you immigrate to the US?

I assume you are referring to the affidavit of support, and that the embassy stated that your primary sponsor (son) does not qualify on his own and will need a joint sponsor?  What is your son's current salary, and what is his household size?
