Bangkok Embassy still interviewing during outbreak/lockdown?

Does anyone know if the Bangkok embassy is still scheduling visa interviews during this latest outbreak? Lots of places are work-from-home only but since embassy staff are all vaccinated I'm not sure what they're doing. We're still anxiously waiting for our IR1 interview.

I dont believe they've scheduled any marriage visa interviews since April? NVC confirmed today that they're not at this time.

That's good to know. I can't find any announcement from the NVC, did you just speak to them directly?

No, I spoke to the NVC. They mentioned that the Thai Consulate (since May I believe?) was only scheduling appointments for K1 fiancee visas at this time. Not quite sure why they're giving exclusive appointments for the fiancee (girlfriend/ boyfriend) of US citizens whilst stopping all appointments for the spouses until further notice? Maybe married couples are a lower priority...doesn't make sense to me? I don't know whether you've contacted them recently? We, my wife and I, just sent an email to them.

Not to confuse you, I haven't spoken with the BKK consulate, but yes, the NVC last week

Hmm, yeah that does seem weird, I would have thought marriage visas would be a higher tier. Well that's quite disappointing honestly, we are ready to move out family to USA basically the day we get the visa, but maybe 2022 is more likely than anytime soon. Thanks for the info and please let me know if you hear more from NVC or embassy

Yeah, disappointing for sure. 2022 would probably be the best we could all hope for at this time. If I hear anything, I'll keep apprised, likewise, if you can do the same for me please. Cheers!

Will do. By the way can I ask when your documentarily qualified date is? We are mid March, but I saw some folks on this site who had an IR1 DQ date in December got their interviews in April & May I think.

Yeah, no worries. Got DQ January 2021.

interesting reading... I stopped by to see what experience others were having. my fiance wrapped up the paperwork on her end about July 10 and I paid the visa fee (confirmed 7/15) 

since then, attempting to schedule her appointment on a daily basis, I only get the following;
