hello

with

for those who've filed the I-130  online please can you assist with me, who the heck do you upload a photo with these specifications ? do i need to order an actual physical copy? they also require  the back of the photo with names on it. please help , not a technical genius . the composition tool only crops the photo but it doesn't give the 2 inches by 2 inches size. HEEEEEELP please

2" x 2" photo of your spouse

Upload a recent color photograph of your spouse that measures 2 inches by 2 inches, with their face measuring 1 inch to 1 3/8 inch from your chin to the top of their head. Their eyes should be between 1 1/8 inch and 1 3/8 inch from the bottom of the photo.

Make sure their whole face is visible, they are facing the camera directly, and the background is white or off-white. Their head must be bare, unless contrary to their religious beliefs. Also, include an image of the back of the photograph with their name and A-Number written in pen or pencil.

If you need help understanding the photo requirements or want to resize, rotate, or crop your photo, you can use to the Department of State's photo composition tools.

Use the online tool to scale your photo to the correct proportion. “Print”size will be fine … it’s all digitally recorded so they stretch or shrink as needed to go on the form etc. Think  of how you make a jpeg fit into a document .. they want you to do the cropping … but not the final “sizing”.

Take a picture of the back of the photo .. with your name on it .. and upload that.
