Updating social security record and apply for new driver license after becoming US Citizen

Hi everyone, hope everyone is doing well.

 

I had my oath ceremony on May 07, 2021, I had my name change during the N400 interview. I waited for about a month and then I made an appointment at the local SSA office to update my social security record on 06/09. The officer said that USCIS could not verify my status and told me to wait. It's been 2 weeks now and I have not received any update from the SSA.

 

Then I tried to renew my driver license with name change at the local DMV, but also they failed to verify my "proof of lawful presence". They opened a case with USCIS.com/save, and I check everyday, case is still under review.

 

Has anyone had the same issue? What possibly is the reason and how should I get this resolved.

Why don't you get a passport, and this will be your evidence of citizenship at the DMV and SSA.

I have made an appointment but it's so far out
