June 2021 AOS Filers

Glad things are moving forward for some. As for me, I am AOS marriage based submitted on June 21st.  Still no updates on EAD or scheduling of an interview.  Estimates for Sacramento CA don't look that encouraging either.  Hopefully some good news soon!

Hi, congrats on the interview! Sorry, forgot to update 

So we had our interview and similar to yours it was brief, didn’t really ask us any questions, and didn’t give an official approval on the spot - just said we should expect an update online within a week - the interview was jan 18. On jan 19, status changed to “case approved” - on Jan 22, status changed to card was produced and then later to “card was picked up by USPS” -

I don’t remember the exact date we received the green card in the mail but it was just a couple of days later maybe Jan 25 or 26th.

Over all it was a smooth process and I’m so glad we’re done for the next two years at least. Hope you have an update soon!! Let us know if you hear back!

I saw status change on 3/1

Notice  arrived in mail 3/8/22

My application was received on 6/24/21, however, I haven't had any updates since my fingerprints were taken back in September of 2021.

 

You can see your case status through your USCIS account at my.uscis.gov. Have you had a chance to create one? Also, you can see the standard processing times at https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/.

 

For example, at the Nebraska Processing Center, there is quite a big range between processing dates depending on the basis for your application

Any updates for anyone?

 

I had an RFE for my medical exam last month, which I submitted before the deadline earlier this month. I only had a 4-week deadline to submit RFE documents, which made everything a bit hectic to get my medical exam done, but I am glad to have everything sent in. No activity in my account and no confirmation of receiving my RFE response, which is a little concerning for me, but I also understand it is not uncommon for USCIS to not update the case status.

 

What are others experiencing?
