So I’m really confused. And definitely stressed. We’re going through the F2a, I’m a LPR, husband is British. Have been DQd with NVC, requested an expedited appointment, but got an email stating our case is going through necessary administrative processing. It hasn’t even been sent to the London embassy yet, so what does this mean?! Anyone have any insight? Because I can’t seem to find much online about it, and no one can really give me an answer at NVC, other than “a department is reviewing”.

Background checks and other research on the petitioner, I would think.

Hello everyone, I’m not sure if I’m posting this in the right place, but here goes.…

We are currently DQ, just May 3rd.
F2a spouse visa, California SC, PD August 2019
Question is…will my husbands interview be on a similar time frame as the IR-1/CR1 visa? I can’t seem to find many F2a visas for UK. Thank you.

Thanks so much! What kind of research do you think they’re doing on me! 😳

I have no idea!! I thought all the enquiries were complete by this stage.

I have done some research into how many F2A visas done at London

https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/legal/visa-law0/visa-statistics/immigrant-visa-statistics/monthly-immigrant-visa-issuances.html

2020 = 0

2019 = 54

2018 = 57

So hopefully there is not too many in front of us, compared to some other categories.

it cant be much longer now!!

Google is driving me crazy I can’t find anything that isn’t post-interview or K1 related. It’s been two weeks I’m PRAYING for an answer soon!
