Is it normal not to have touches or correspondence in nearly two months?

My fiance is British and I sent in the I-129F visa application. I received the NOA1 on May 10, 2007. Since then there have been absolutely no touches or correspondence whatsover. Is this normal? Other timelines I looked at seem to have had a least a couple of touches and some even have an NOA2 but it feels like mine has been left in a back corner somewhere and obviously not even looked at. I tried calling but can't get to talk to a person. Is this normal? Or is there something wrong?

I believe all the paperwork is in order. We've known each other for years and have plenty of documentation. He is currently working in Oman and I'm wondering if that is causing a problem?! He is to be interviewed in Muscat. Does anyone have any advice for us?

very normal not to have touches, some get their appoval notices even without seeing any touches.

This is normal, depending on work-load at the service center NOA1 - NOA2 can be 1 month up to 6 months. Tuches tend to hapen just before NOA2, but some have touches all the time, and others don't see a touch until NOA2.
