Apologies if this is the wrong forum here...We're eager to get his work permit and SSN so I thought here might be apropos.

I think you can see our timeline below. Originally was scheduled a biometrics appointment for Feb 5th, requested rescheduling due to illness. The hotline says to wait 60 days for the new appt, but it's been 90 days and when we called the only person we could get on the phone couldn't or wouldn't look up the case, just said there's covid related delays to the appointments.

Has anyone else rescheduled their appointment during Covid and how long did it take to get the new one? We'd REALLY like to get my husband working as we just had a newborn. Obviously we're also worried that they simply haven't received the request and will kill the application, though there's no indication of that when we look at the always vague case statuses.

TIA!

Have you tried taking the original notice and do a  walk in ?  Might work.

YMMV
