RFE..pissed me off!!!

Dear Friends, We recieved RFE letters today, its pink color 3 pages and it asks for sponsor's(my wife) W2s, 1099s, letter from employer, household member's(my wife's father) copy of birth certificate and my birth certificate. I am very pissed off because we all sent all of these stuff with AOS package. We will go to infopass on July 13th. we will talk to Immigration officer and will see what will happen then. Most people gets RFE for a new medical exam but thanks God at least they dont ask for it.

There's no need to go to an Infopass - just send what they're asking for. It's not uncommon for people to receive RFEs for stuff they've already sent in - particularly tax/financial things. The sooner you respond to the RFE, the sooner they'll resume working on your case...

Save yourself some time and effort and just send what they have asked for again.... going to an infopass appointment will not change the fact that the processing center has asked for this information.... it may well have got lost.....

I agree. As frustrating as it is, just send them what they're asking for asap so that the processing with resume on your case.

We went through this as well. We got an RFE for the same stuff and just took copies of what we sent in with the Application and resent them.

I had to resubmit I-864 stuff also, its not a big deal, save yourself some time and just send it back.

Hang in there, and re-send the documents requested. We received an RFE as well. They seem to ask for evidence in three's. They may need just one. Regardless, the sooner it's sent, the sooner the NOA2 arrives and the interview appt. is made.
